More context. Faster investigations. Better situational awareness
We're pleased to announce the release of Atlas v1.2.0, introducing a range of new capabilities designed to help users investigate aircraft activity more efficiently and build a clearer understanding of what is happening in the airspace around them.
Atlas combines satellite ADS-B, independent position verification through VECTOR, GNSS interference analysis, and geospatial intelligence to provide a global view of aircraft activity. This release builds on those foundations with new tools for airport intelligence, flight reconstruction, alert management, and historical analysis.
-
Reconstruct airspace activity with historic filtering
Understanding what happened is often just as important as understanding what is happening now.
Atlas now includes a redesigned time filtering system that allows users to switch between Live and Historic views. Users can select a historical end time and analysis window to recreate airspace activity at a specific point in time, with minute-level adjustment controls available for more detailed investigations.
This capability supports incident review, operational analysis, and historical intelligence workflows.
-
Airport intelligence comes to Atlas
Atlas now includes dedicated Airport Search and Airport Details pages.
Users can search for airports using a range of identifiers and metadata and access detailed information including runway characteristics, airport classifications, operator information, military airfield data, and recent aircraft movements.
The Map Interface has also been enhanced with improved airport symbology and filtering, making it easier to identify and analyse aviation infrastructure.
-
Enhanced GNSS interference analysis
Atlas has always provided visibility of GNSS interference patterns. Version 1.2.0 improves this workflow with the introduction of a dedicated GNSS interference context menu.
Users can now identify and display the aircraft that contributed to a specific interference cell, creating a direct connection between interference observations and aircraft activity within the affected area.
Combined with VECTOR's independent position verification, this capability provides additional tools for investigating navigation degradation and position discrepancies.
-
Improved alerts and monitoring
Atlas now includes a dedicated Active Alerts page that consolidates all active alerts relevant to the user.
Additional features include:
- alert acknowledgement
- email notifications
- improved alert management workflows
These improvements help users move more efficiently from detection to investigation.
Additional enhancements
Atlas v1.2.0 also introduces:persistent filters across page navigation and browser refreshes
- aircraft colour scheme customisation
- configurable aircraft labels
- Mode 3/A squawk code searching
- Aircraft ID filtering
- enhanced aircraft context menus
- improved PDF aircraft reports with mapped location context
- support for KML and GeoJSON export defaults
Looking ahead
Atlas continues to evolve in response to customer feedback and operational requirements. Version 1.2.0 represents a significant step forward in helping users transform aircraft position data into operational intelligence and actionable insight.
If you are an existing Atlas customer, we encourage you to explore the new features and workflows introduced in this release.
If you are not familiar with Atlas and would like to see how it can help make sense of complex aviation activity, we'd be happy to arrange a demonstration.
